Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is an alternative to veneers and crowns that can be used as a restorative procedure for teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored or are unevenly spaced. At David & Associates we will help you determine if this procedure is the best option for you.
WHAT IS DENTAL BONDING?
Dental bonding is a cosmetic procedure where tooth-colored composite resin is applied to your teeth to improve the look, feel and function of your smile. This procedure can be performed for both purely cosmetic purposes and as an alternative for filling cavities. Dental bonding takes a high amount of skill and precision and can be completed in only one visit.
QUICK & EASY PROCESS
Less time at the dentist
First we will roughen the surface of the tooth and apply a liquid that allows the bonding agent to stick to your tooth. Next, we will apply the tooth-colored, composite resin over the liquid and then mold and shape the tooth. Finally we will harden the material with ultraviolet light. Once set, the resin is trimmed, smooth and polished to a natural appearance. This is a fast procedure that we’re very confident in doing. Sometimes you won’t even need anesthesia and can continue with your normal routine after your procedure.
